Global ISO standard on outsourcing

HDP Management Consulting is participating to develop a global ISO standard on outsourcing. An ISO committee has been initiated beginning of 2011 with numerous country delegations being present. The German organization for standardization DIN has installed a dedicated committee for this initiative. The objective is to describe life cycle processes, main concepts and good practices for any type of outsourcing. Additionally there will be a list of defined terms. Start of new itSMF Special Interest Group

itSMF Germany has established a new special interest group focusing on IT Sourcing with support of HDP. Objective of this group is to prepare publications on following topics
- Sourcing strategy (Project 1)
- Outsourcing Frameworks (Project 2)
- Sourcing and ITSM according to ITIL (Projekt 3)

Facility Management Conference 2011

HDP Management Consulting contributes to the Facility Management Conference 2011 on 22nd to 24th of February, 2011 by presenting "The Cooperation Model - Optimizing the collaboration between FM and Purchasing".

Chinese Delegation visiting HDP

DCKIH (German Chinese cooperation office for industry and commerce) has visited HDP Management Consulting with a Chinese delegation to discuss outsourcing in general and the application of the industry standard DIN SPEC 1044 "Outsourcing". The participants engaged in a lively discussion on opportunities and conditions for outsourcing services to China, in particular to the province Zhejian. 

eSourcing-Seminar in co-operation with the BME

HDP is conducting a new training "eSourcing - from plan to realisation" on 21st to 22nd of February, 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany. More information can be found at http://www.bme.de/.

8. BITKOM Outsourcing Conference
